Register for the Tests

To register for the GED Test, you can register online or get in touch directly with your local adult education program.

Register for the Tests Online at GED123.org

If you have a working email address, you can complete the initial steps of registration online by visiting GED123.org and answering some simple questions. When you’ve finished filling out the GED registration documents online, you can print out the “Proof of GED Registration” form and take it to a Virginia testing center where you will pay your testing fee and reserve a seat for a convenient testing date.

Find your local GED program

In addition to helping you register for the GED Tests, your local adult education program may offer classes, practice tests, and study guides to help you prepare for the tests, often for little or no charge. To contact your local program, choose your city or county from the list below and click "Find contacts."
